Alligator! Alligator! Chomp! Chomp!

Now that I have your attention, I would like to share some of the amazing experiences I have had here In India

My village is Koch Pukur. They spoil us rotten with all the little cute kids. They are so wild so it is hard to teach them. But we finally got the hang of teaching the and they are loving every moment.

We go on village tours to people’s houses. We are invited in to there homes where some of them perform ordinances where they bless and welcome the visitor(s). They usually put a dot of some brown stuff on our forehead followed by a bunch of flowers in our hair. Then they feed us some food which consists of: coconut, coconut sugar balls, cucumbers, coconut milk, puffed rice, and a lot of more crazy stuff. Some of the stuff is way good and some of it is… If you know you know 😉

Today was our last day of teaching. So it’s kind of sad that we won’t be able to teach them but at the same time we get to play games and hang out with them the rest of the week.

Anyway I’m having a blast I’m full of gratitude and so thankful for this opportunity to come serve and make a difference in the lives of a few girls. It’s worth it!!!

Cheers,

Chase Bennion
