March 26, 2019 - 2019 Operation: Sapna
Today was our first day in the villages of Rampur. My team was given a warm welcoming by the head mistress of our villages and we were given special necklaces and introduced to the kids. The kids all loved us! They couldn’t stop smiling at us and trying to get our attention. The lessons went really well too! We each taught about 6 kids at a time, they were very well behaved though. The kids loved the games that we taught them, their favorite one was called jelly fish. The most fun part was playing with the kids at recess, all they wanted to do was be close to us! The whole time since we have been in India, we have been gawked at by all the people. I feel like I am a zoo animal and everyone is just fascinated to see me. Many people have discreetly tried to take selfies with us, and then quickly hide their cameras when we catch them! The scenery here is incredible! You wouldn’t believe how big the mountains our here! So far, India has been amazing!
I love you Adam! Thanks for sharing about your day. So glad to hear the class size was not too big and everything went well. Everything sounds amazing!

Thank Megan’s sister Taylor for the Jellyfish game! She introduced it to all the India kids (and us leaders) on her expedition! (Thank you Tay! You’re still giving to those sweet kids! Love you!) Glad you guys are enjoying your teaching! Thanks for working so hard to be prepared and give those adorable kids your BEST YOU! Live your life lenses and have a wonderful time!
You are awesome Adam! So proud of you! These are cherished memories! Way to go! Love ya Adam!
I’m sure you are the stars of the villages, people feel so surprised that someone who doesn’t know them would come from far away to help them. It is amazing all the influence you have for good!
