Anamika

Anamika came with her mother at House of Learning. She was good enough in her study.  Her father Mr. Sonu Kumar is a farmer living his native village Tukhar, far from Chamba town. She used to talk in local dialect with everybody. She was sufficiant in expressing her views, when we asked her general questions. The financial background offamily cannot affordgood care.

Anamika have 1 sister and 1 brother. The family is dependent upon agriculture income. Educational background of family is also poor. Mr. Sonu Kumar is 12th pass and mother is also 10th pass.  The family is living in village and has 8 Bigha land for livelihood. The land is un- irrigated and located on hilly slope. 

In her new school, Anamika is changing rapidly. She is participating in class competitions, She is developing confidence and working hard for change.  She is learning from surroundings and facilities at “House of Learning”. Now she speaks in hindi with everyone and also trying to talk in English. Its her 3rd year with us and she is scoring top rank in class and in last month she stood first in slogan competition at school.
