Lessons Taught, Lessons Learned

We had a busy week last week, starting off by meeting with our individual village teams. Each team met together to practice their lessons, as well as begin preparation for other things. Pairs of teams were assigned to do a gratitude activity for each other. We wrote notes and prepared treats to be exchanged.

            The main reason for these village team meetings was to prepare our lessons so that we could teach at Washington Elementary in Salt Lake. Each village team was assigned a day to go and teach their lessons to children from Washington Elementary.

            It was a very helpful experience for everyone as we got to get some experience in teaching our lessons to kids. We all got good feedback on what we need to do to improve our teaching skills and methods.
