I Like It, I Like It a Lot! – Gaven Oliver

India to this point has done nothing but amaze me. The people, the views, the culture, the markets, and the children. So far I’ve had so many experiences that have changed my perspective on my own life, and have shown me that I have so much to be grateful for. My school has 15 of the most amazing kids, I fell in love with them and their seemly limitless energy, and positive attitudes. These kids have so little and yet they are so happy and content with what they have. They are so cute, and their smiles bring the warmest feeling to my heart. On the second day one of the children started calling me “uncle” which was strange at first, but the other kids started calling me uncle as well and is so awesome. This is such a life changing experience, and I’m so glad that I have such a great group and such amazing leaders. I am so grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to come to India and serve these awesome kids. I miss you all so much, and cant wait to get to share all the experiences I’ve had. Love you, see you in a week and half!
