Till We Meet Again — Ellie Ewer

April 6, 2018 - 2018 Operation: Vishvaas

Today was the hardest day of my life. I had to say goodbye to the beautiful children who have changed my life forever. The children that have hearts so big and smiles so bright. The children who will never fail to make me smile and cry no matter how far away I am from them. The children who have shaped me in ways that I could never imagine and that have given me a true purpose in life. A piece of my heart will forever be in India with the kids of my school in Lalsa. I know that as I head home back into the craziness of everyday life it will be hard to keep this kind of happiness in my heart, but it will not be hard to remember how much I love these children, and that is enough to keep me going. I am beyond grateful for this truly astounding experience that I have been given to serve and love these sweet children.

To my beautiful kids- I am so grateful for everything that you have taught be about life and about love. I will never forget your sweet faces for as long as I live. You have changed my life for the better and I am so incredibly lucky to have met each and every one of you. I’ll love you forever.

Till we meet again,

Didi Ellie
