Glad to be Here by Rebecca Turville

March 27, 2019 - 2019 Operation: Sapna

I don’t know where to begin. It’s amazing here; these kids are great. I feel like I’m not even in a new place. The drive up to the school is beautiful—everything here is, despite the decrepit buildings, unfinished roads, and trash strewn everywhere.
The kids are the best part of it all. Some are very sweet, while others are just little gremlins. We love them, and despite all shortcomings, they love us so much. It’s hard to believe how much they care; they want us to be with them until the very last second. I’m glad to be here. It’s really something to live for.
