India Part 2 by Wyatt

We started off our adventure by flying   in to Delhi. As soon as we got off the plane, the smell of India hit me over the head with nostalgia from my first time around in Chamba last year. Thankfully this time around, I knew what the hell I was doing.

After a 14 hour bus ride to our hotel, everyone was exhausted, but alas we had to pack our education bags (with the materials we teach the kids with) and stay up until 10PM! I was so excited to meet the kids the next day.

We woke up at 7AM sharp and got ready for the first day at the schools. Oh, I forgot to mention that I was on the green team. Our adult leader is Jens Jenkins the giant, and the other teens in my group are Samantha, Liberty, Felicity, Clara and Hayden. I’m not even going to begin to try to describe how it felt going into the schools for the first day. Although the kids felt nervous to meet us, they immediately warmed to us and welcomed us into their school. I can safely say that the rest of this adventure will be amazing.
