We started teaching in our schools and it has been so amazing. The kids are so smart and they are picking up English really well. They are so cute! I want to take all of them home. The driving here is crazy and it’s weird driving on the wrong side of the road. We went to the market a couple of times and it had been really cool to see all the different things they have here. Everything is so much cheaper here. It’s been really interesting to see all the culture here and how different everything is here compared to back home. The people are really friendly and everyone is so excited to see us and give us high fives and snake our hands. The views here are beautiful, the houses are built up way high into the mountains and at night you can see all the lights. When we aren’t teaching we are normally at the hotel. Our hotel is really nice and the food has been really good. We’ve got to hangout together as a group and get to know each other better and it’s been such a good experience.
We also got to make hygiene kits and write English words on Jenga blocks to give to the kids in the schools. Giving the kids the hygiene kits was the best moment in my life I have never seen people so happy. They were so grateful. It has made me so much more grateful for everything that we have. We are so lucky. I love it here and the kids are absolutely amazing!

  2. It sounds amazing! We are glad you guys are gaining and learning so much. I can’t wait to see what “snaking”your hand means!

  3. It’s hard to imagine the kids being excited and so grateful for simple hygiene kits.
