Brenner’s Blog

Today was the last day of seeing the kids, saying goodbye to them was probably the hardest thing I have done ever. Those kids were really my everything for that week. They changed my life just as much as I changed their lives they torn holes through my heart when I had to leave. Clinging to my arms holding me tight not letting me go made me weep. I am very sad to see them go I hope they never forget me and I them. My translator Gunu was the perfect amount of bossy and nice. I’m very sad to see her go we would stay up late with other people from the group and another translator Anu playing cards. I will miss that a lot, the rest of the trip will not be the same without her. I’m very sad to leave India I just want to give the kids so much more. I don’t have a good ending and I’m tired but thanks for reading and I would recommend YMAD to anyone after this.
