Clear as Glass – Spencer Pihl

November 30, 2012 - All Posts, 2012 Operation Shakti

Thought I’d post to let you know I have loved the trip and am still alive Mom and Family! We finished up with the tiger camp and it will be nice to come home to some really good American food. (steak with A-1 cough cough Mom)  I was dying on the boat when I saw the water was perfect glass, all I wanted was to call home and tell you to send me the ski! Can’t wait to be home and show you all my pictures and share all my experiences, see you soon!

  2. Hey Spence, great to hear from you. It finally hit me what an amazing, once in a lifetime experience you’ve been having. Proud of you! Look forward to learning more about it when you get back. We’ll have a steak for you. BTW, don’t get too excited about the water, its probably full of alligators, tigers and hippos.

  3. It is good to finally see a post from you, Spencer! Your family is relieved to see you are alive and well, I’m sure!! The photos of you during the time in Nishta were so great to see. Always smiling and happy! The photo you posted with your comment is beautiful. I can totally see why you were dying for a ski to have fun on that glassy water……It will be good to see all of you at the airport on Sunday! Please tell Zoe her family says hello and we miss her!

  4. The water does look like glass. We will see ya soon, and have some American food ready for you!
