Easter morning dawned bright and clear–no more rain!! After breakfast we had an Easter Egg Hunt, then played a bunch of games (relays, egg toss, etc.) with colored eggs. It was fun to share our Easter traditions with the translators and Jibhi Camp staff, and especially with Raj’s friend’s family–Shali and Virasat were SO excited to participate in their first Easter Egg Hunt ever!
Later that day we packed our lunch and hiked up to the thousand-year-old Balu Temple about 8000 feet above sea level–gorgeous! While there we explored, held our Gratitude Activity sharing our thoughts and feelings about the trip and all we are grateful for, then read our letters from home–thank you, all, for writing these! It was a very peaceful and meaningful Easter Day!
