Hey all!! Hope everyone is having as good of a time as I am! These last few days since the last time I had the privilege of blogging have truly been some of the most memorable days of my life. We celebrated our wonderful amazing leader Ashley’s birthday. It was a great few days all around

On Saturday we got to sleep in and then we woke up and practiced for our cultural exchange. The cultural exchange was an awesome experience. We went to the Cambridge international school in Kullu. The children at the school were very friendly and had lots of questions for us about life in the states. They also gave us a tour of the facilities at the school, which were impressive. Then after mingling with some of the students we watched their performance. They performed everything from tribal music to roar by Katy Perry and they performed it extremely well. Then we performed for them and that was a neat experience.

After the exchange we came back to the hotel, had lunch, and went to the market. The market was a local market just across the street from the hotel and a lot of people bought rings and stuff, but I didn’t see anything that caught my eye. Then we went to dinner to celebrate the birth of our glorious leader, Ashley. We went to an all vegetarian restaurant, which if you know me at all is not really my vibe, but the food was surprisingly good and the cake afterwards was a sight to behold.

Today we woke up early in the morning to go on a hike. It was a short hike to a temple at the top of the mountain that the schools are on. The hike was through a forest, but when we reached the top, the trees opened up to reveal stunning views. We went to the temple and we watched a ceremony in a smoke filled room.  After we took a few pictures, we hiked down and returned to the hotel. Later in the afternoon we had a yoga class that reminded me of my inability to sit on my knees.

Hard to believe that this is the last time I will be blogging before we come back, see you all soon!!
