Having So Much Fun By: Hayden Harrison

November 19, 2019 - 2019: Operation Parivar

The past couple of days have been such a good time. There’s never a dull moment un unless everyone is passed out the extreme jet lag! The three fights weren’t too bad but the buss ride was long. VERY LONG!! The things I saw out the window in the bus are truly awesome, from men using the curb side as the toilet to monkeys chilling on cliffs of the mountains. Speaking of the mountains, they ae so pretty. They are so different from the ones back at home

The school that my group is teaching at is so cool. It is the farthest school from the hotel and is a 45min bumpy bus ride up a narrow and busy road. Looking over the edge of the cliffs while we are driving make most of us uneasy. Every day at the schools the kids say there morning prayers and sing songs. Teaching can be hard but is a blast.at lunch we play games and get to know the kids. They range from 4-10 and every day is different.

Finally, being here in India is so rewarding, through all the fundraising, long meetings and preparation for the past year. I feel like I have really matured though the whole process and slowly becoming the adult Im supposed to be. Im so happy for the opportunity to be her and am so thankful for all leader and all they put into this for the kids and for all of us!
