This has been such an exciting trip so far. Today is Easter Sunday and I got up early as usual and went for a run with my cute sissy Megan this morning, as we got chatting and running up through the hills I couldn’t help but think of how grateful I am for the savior today and everything he has done for me and what an absolutely beautiful glorious world he has created for us. India is absolutely one of the prettiest places I have ever seen, words cannot express the beauty here. I also feel so much gratitude for the people and culture here. I definitely think that they have taught me much more than I could have imagined, I feel as though they will always have a place in my heart. This is one of those experiences that I will never forget. As my sister and I were running we were quickly spotted by some of the village kids and they started running with us. There were 4 boys and 1 girl. I love that they were so excited to see us and wanted to be with us, it melts your heart. I absolutely love the people in India. I love that there is a universal love between everyone here. I have never seen anything like it. It is so different in the Utah were we all have everything we need and consistently want more, your mindset is totally different here. People live a simple but happy life. In some ways we feel like we are so lucky to live in the U.S. but I am now convinced we are very spoiled. I love the feeling that service and loving others gives you. There is nothing like it. That is why we are here. I feel very lucky to be here with my sister Megan. How fun that we get to be here together. I love her very much and have loved having our morning talks running.
Your kids in my group are so amazing. I watched them open letters from you today and they showed so much love and emotion. They are a great group of kids. Nothing like I have ever seen before. You’ve raised them to be amazing people. Thank you for letting them be a part of my lives. Namaste
