Chamba has grown to be a home away from home for me. As I’ve strengthened my relationships with the girls from the Temple Ashram, my love for them has increased—something that, a year ago, I would’ve never thought possible. My heart has grown so much on this trip, both as I’ve spent time with these amazing Indian girls, and as I’ve watched our college team interact with and love these girls.
As I reflect on the past few days that we have spent with these amazing girls, I struggle to find words that can accurately describe just how I feel. All I know is that I am at peace. When I am with the girls, nothing else in the world matters to me. Life is perfect, and I couldn’t be happier doing anything else in the world right now.
